妖怪書家 逢香が障害児の療育や児童福祉に墨で描く妖怪画を活用する取り組みです。 子どもたちが描いた作品は「モノクロモンスター」を略した「モノモン」。 集まった作品には必ず展示の機会を設け（毎年、奈良・東大寺などで開催） 販売し、売り上げの一部を作者である子ども本人に手渡しています。表現力とともに社会とつながることで自己肯定感を育んでいくことを目指します。
Monomon
Yokai calligrapher Ouka is making efforts to utilize Yokai paintings drawn in ink for the treatment and education of disabled children and the welfare of children. The children drew “Monomon”, an abbreviation for Monochrome Monster. Collected works will definitely have an exhibition opportunity (held every year at Nara, Todaiji, etc.) We sell and hand over some of the sales to the author, the child himself. We aim to develop a sense of self-affirmation by connecting with society along with expressive power.

I began studying calligraphy at the age of six, and when I was a university student majoring in calligraphy, I encountered yokai (class of supernatural monsters, spirits and demons in Japanese folklore) depicted in old books. Since then, I have continued to draw yokai along with calligraphy.
I use Nara sumi ink and draw on Japanese paper with a brush dipped in water. Sumi ink is a writing tool that has been used for 1400 years. Although we live in a digital age, I have been drawing with these ultimate analog tools since I was a child. I hold a solo exhibition every year and create a wide range of designs, including corporate logo designs and train wrapping designs.
実家の書道教室で6歳から書道を学ぶ。奈良教育大学書道科に入学後、変体仮名の授業を受けたことをきっかけに個性豊かな妖怪たちに興味を持ち、墨を使って描きはじめる。
2017年に妖怪ウォッチシリーズ「黒い妖怪ウォッチ」のキャラクターデザインとタイトルデザインを担当。2020年に開催された「橿原神宮御鎮座百三十年記念大祭」を揮毫し、同年 世界遺産の元興寺の絵馬のデザインを手掛けるなど寺社仏閣への奉納も行う。個展については、2021年は世界遺産 金峯山寺、2022年は奈良市美術館にて大個展「妖怪 POP」を開催し、約1万人を動員。2023年は安藤忠雄氏建築の「日本橋の家」、2024年は東大寺にて開催。2025年は書と水墨画を手掛ける近鉄けいはんな線のラッピング電車が大阪万博へ開通、現在運行中。
